Description
Starting with Oneiric I noticed that nautilus was popping up whenever the target was mounted. I haven't checked whether this is default in Precise 12.04. The setting is under "System Settings" "Details" "Removable media". I have checked "Never prompt or start programs on media insertion". This is an issue e.g. if you quickly mount the target partition(s) to check that they are empty before migrating - while the script is already unmounting, nautilus is busy loading and the unmount fails - at the moment there is a "sleep" in place, but depending on the speed of the machine this may be too little (or too long). There is probably a better way of doing it, sleep 1, loop try again until successful. But there should be a way to prevent nautilus from popping without messing with system settings.
