Play not working after killing the notification #72
Description
Reproduction steps:
- Use Android 14 or later (probably limited to 14+ and not before)
- (I successfully reproduced it on a Samsung phone. Not sure if it happens with other manufacturers as well)
- Play some VOD video
- go to homescreen
- swipe out the notification (to stop the playback service)
- go back to the app
- hit play in the video you just played
- -> video is not starting
Background:
Android changed how foreground services work and deprecated some apis.
