User Story
Ministry users require that the exception for current year income for a partner/common-law be converted into an appeal process to allow for proper adjudication and a consistent application flow.

- Application status is Completed
- Application is not Archived
- Parent data exists

Create a new “Application appeal" to replace the exception:

Parent Current Year Income Appeal
If either of your parents has had, or is anticipated to have, a significant decrease in gross income for (dynamic year – e.g., 20XX if program year is 20XX–20YY), you may submit this appeal to request assessment using their current year estimated gross income.

(e.g., medical records, physician letter, Record of Employment, layoff/strike documentation, invoices for damages, etc.)
○ The most recent CRA Income Tax Return and gross income information for the year matching the student financial assistance application number
(with supporting documentation demonstrating the decrease in income), if available
○ Documentation supporting estimated total gross income for the year matching the student financial assistance application number, if applicable
