Ability to use variable in variable value

It would be nice to be able to do the following:

<!-- $name = World -->
<!-- $message = Hello, $World -->
<!-- $message -->

Currently, this prints out "Hello, $World". I understand that this is not as straightforward of an issue as it seems at first (what if I wanted to set <!-- $amount = $1.00 -->, for example) - and that this sort of functionality may better be suited for another language such as Jade or Haml, but this sort of functionality would be extremely helpful for building up reusable kit language components.
