Current state of bearded

I'm interested in this tool, but it seems development stopped. I've seen you created barbudo.net, probably based on bearded, but this also does not exist anymore. 

Was there any significant development at barburo.net, which you could make open source? It seems like this was a lot of work, but i'm not comfortable using or committing to pre-alpha software :-)
