I'm getting these warnings updating on Manjaro now:

Connected to this PR in dkms, which was released in v3.1.8.

new-lg4ff isn't the only project affected by this - there's a similar discussion going on in v4l2loopback, for example.

This is also relevant for Fedora 42 which currently ships dkms-3.2.1.
