Hello my g29 has a broken switch and is always in ps4 mode, can't put it in ps3 Is there anyway to make it work? Support ps4? Switch to ps3 via usb_modeswitch or something? |

Not that I know of. How is it broken? Does it still move fine but doesn't do anything? If that's the case, it might be a slide switch that has dirty contacts. If you could put electrical contact cleaner under the plastic switch and move it repeatedly many times, that could be enough to fix it. Getting the cleaner inside the switch might be tricky though, disassembling the wheel would make it easier. There are several videos on YT about the procedure if you don't fear it. |

It's completely loose doesn't seem to have contact with the internal switch, sadly I have been saving up for a over a year for it and just got it second hand, I'd be scared shitless to attempt and open it up. |

Well, I manned up and disassembled it. Thank fully the internal switch is intact just had to flip it and it's works with oversteer now, disassembled was far easier than expected just take out the screws, carefully pull the wheel being sure not to break any cables and just switch the switch, no need to un plug or remove anything it's easily accessible when you pull the the wheel just a little bit. |
