To test
- Flash Micropython
- Run the motors
- Test the hall sensors
- Test I2C
- Internal Hall sensor 1
- Internal Hall sensor 2
- Neopixel
- Test Switches
- Temperature sensor
- DCF receiver (see Runtime error related to Timer(-1) dsiggi/micropython-dcf77#2)
- 12V circuitry trips the resettable fuse #8
Log
- Once the 5V trace is cut the USB-Port appears and the Chip can be flashed
- The 4MB module is used. The 8MB or 16MB would have been easier to set up with Micropython + Thonny since 8/16MB is the default for S3 chips.
Ideas for the next version
- R1 should be 0805 for easy hand soldering
- Add solder bridge parallel to R7
- Clearly denote the Hall sensor components since they're currently not assembled
- Angled switches that are on the front side of the pcb
- Uart header 90degree friendly on the edge of the pcb
