More exception handling need to be added

Every time a dictionary key is referenced, it has the possibility to crash. Adding exception handling will be good.

If #2 includes the ability to create an object from one of the messages, a lot of it could be there and it could fill in a value indicating it wasn't there on ones that aren't a requirement
