A question about input data

I followed the user guide of rLPJGUESS, but I don't found any information about the input data,such as below.

My question is what is the data like 'cru_1901_2006misc.bin' and how to get it. The only data i can download is like 'cru_ts4.04.1901.2019.tmp.dat.nc', but I don't konw if I should covert nc to bin; and what difference between 'cru_1901_2006.bin' and 'cru_1901_2006misc.bin'
