error when set the interface between ros and vrep

I installed ros and vrep successfully. Then I clone this proj.
But, when I run the command ./scripts/install_vrep_ros_interface.sh, it shows that fatal: 在 .gitmodules 中没有发现路径 'vrep_ws/src/vrep_stubs_gen/src/v_repStubsGen' 的子模组映射.
What could I do to fix this error? Thanks!

I fix it by git rm --cached vrep_ws/src/vrep_stubs_gen/src/v_repStubsGen.

But it leads another error which shows that
/usr/bin/python: No module named v_repStubsGen.__main__; 'v_repStubsGen' is a package and cannot be directly executed

Finally, it shows
