Sometimes white dots appear pretty much all over the screen when creating a screencap. It doesn't usually make anything unreadable or unrecognizable, but it still definitely is noticeable.
The dots appear right after clicking Rectangle Snip and darkening the screen. They appear on the uploaded image as well.
