Run a focused cleanup sweep over recent auto-fix commits.

- review each auto-fix commit for correctness/regressions
- squash/revert/follow-up as needed
- normalize formatting/style where auto-fixes were noisy
- ensure links/build/content checks pass after cleanup
- leave a concise summary of what was kept vs reverted
