Save file to Server

Is there a way to save file to server instead of To SwaggerHub?
Any suggestions on how to do this?

Currently the only supported server is the SwaggerHub API. To workaround you could download the SwaggerHub API (swagger def) and generate a NodeJS, JAX-RS or other server using the swagger doc. The only way to switch the URL for the SwaggerHub save / load would be to fork the project and modify the SwaggerHub.service.js (https://github.com/booknds/sge/blob/master/src/app/common/services/SwaggerHub/swaggerHub.service.js) to point the URL in question.

Will investigate allowing one to specify a server save as an additional option.

Consider adding a settings section to modify the URL for SwaggerHub or add an additional Save option where the URL is user specified.

I've edited swaggerHub.service.js, to point to directory in my localhost (var shUri="http://localhost/api,") but no success. Looking at my server logs, I am getting HTTP 404 error on POST. Any recommendation on fix? Thanks.

I would suggest making sure that you review the swaggerhub api which is what we are invoking. Your REST Api would need to duplicate that interface as articulated:

https://app.swaggerhub.com/api/swagger-hub/registry-api/1.0.41

If you look at that api there is a POST /apis/{owner}/{api} method to create a Swagger Definition. The Swagger document would be in the body of the request referred to as "definition".

The REST API you create would pull the JSON payload in the HTTP Body and then store to disk or other.
