I need to use iTerm2 instead of Terminal.app

For some reason on 10.13.3 my Terminal.app is no longer starting up correctly, so I switched to iTerm2. Now if I try to connect to several hosts with cssh, it launches Terminal.app instead of opening new iTerm2 windows. How can I correct this behavior?
