Mysterious imagery upload problems

It has been noted that there are some problems uploading imagery to the pleromanna application, especially when done in bulk. For some reason some of the uploaded images go missing at some undisclosed time after uploading them while other images seem to become miss labeled over time.

It may be a problem of mapping multiple files in different local directories to one final destination directory. The upload process needs to be examined to see if there is a method that can be used to ensure unique file names are created for the files in the amazon S3 buckets.

May need to retest this soon as it may have been overcome by the fact that we are using VIMEO for our video content storage needs. The video content was the main reason for using amazon S3 buckets. Now that it is hosted on Vimeo I have removed the S3 interface and am storing the imagery and other uploads directly on the server. It is quite possible that this will also fix the upload naming problems we were seeing before.
