2 errors after running the installation test, modules not found

Hi! I have followed the installation procedure for Mac and was able to complete the python3 -m pip install . without errors.
When importing the package, no error is reported.
When running the test, I got 2 errors, one of which points to the fact that no modules are found.
I have checked the pip install location and the python path. Everything looks good.
I also unsuccessfully attempted to update the toml file as described here: https://discuss.python.org/t/python-doesnt-find-local-module-although-it-is-installed-and-its-location-exists-in-sys-path/25099/7 ... without any luck.
I have made the install in a venv

Any ideas of what I could try next?

Hi, sorry that you have a bad user experience. Unfortunately, I don't own a Mac myself, which makes it quite difficult for me to solve any installation issues. It appears that you are using an X86 mac. Can you try to install the binaries using the official packages on PyPI? Or do you plan to work with the source code? The most straightforward installation would be possible, by-the-way, with conda. There are packages on conda-forge, which usually run very well. Let us know how things develop, please.
