"Segmentation fault (core dumped)" error

I get this error message always "Segmentation fault (core dumped)". What does that mean?

Hi ahmad,
This is a quit common fault in C program, always caused by memory leaks. But there are so many probabilities to cause this error that I can't figure out what it does mean in your problem.

Maybe you can send me a small sample of your PCAP file that causes this error to help me to locate this bug and fix it.
