State of MSFSDeck Feb 2025 & MSFS2024 - Waiting on SU1?

First of all, many thanks to Calibx and the other maintainers trying to get up to speed to help! After the release of MSFS2024, we don't need to talk about the issues MS/Asobo have had since launch. Unfortunately, our Loupedecks have been a casualty of the lack of testing done prior to launch and a general lack of transparency with the community regarding the latest delay in SU1's release.

I'm still flying in MSFS2020 to chase after a few achievements, but have all my other gadgets and doodads working in msfs2024 except for for my loupedeck.

I've seen comments in other threads hinting that core-game systems need to be fixed in MSFS2024 in order for Loupedeck to be functional again in 2024.

I was hoping we could give Calibx a place to confirm this and also to give a quick word how things are going, what he and others are waiting on, and what's in the pipeline for the next few months. It would be helpful to know what versions people have installed to get limited success in msfs2024. If there's anything that we can do to help him (besides leave him alone so he can work), I'd love to know as well.

I'm using Loupedeck 5.8.1 with some version of the plugin... It sorta works, until I click on something on another monitor and it loses focus. I then have to do the hokey pokey to get it to sync with the sim again.... so yeah... a little wonky, but serviceable if you know the limitations.

Hi,
For me the SU1 is a huge improvement, but there is still lots to fix for Asobo.

For the plugin : the main work is done and merged into develop.
There is still 3 issues to fix (auto switch, folder and multi input) before making a release to the market.

And thanks to Loupedeck, I have now another to fix as they changed graphics handling in 6.0.5 : the user labels are now displayed on each input so I need a little rescale of my graphics.

To prevent profile switch, just desactive Dynamic Mode

Thanks, I uninstalled the loupedeck software, restarted my pc, downloaded and installed 6.0.5.21625 (UI:6.0.5.21625;LPS:6.0.5.21571) and the latest plugin *.lpug4 ... It said it installed successfully, but I don't see it listed and I don't see the expected profile for MSFS... Let me know if there are any logs that might be helpful.

Strange... After doing a clean install of the latest version UI:6.0.5.21625;LPS:6.0.5.21571 and the latest Msfs-4.0.0.lpug4, at first glance it said v 4.0.0 installed successfully... but I don't see the icon in the toolbar. When I try to install it again, I get an error message.

If the plugin is installed, you should see the folder here : %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Logi\LogiPluginService\Plugins
The logs are here : %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Logi\LogiPluginService\Logs

After poking around my plugins folder, I think maybe an old \Plugins\Msfs\ folder was being seen and so I manually deleted it and installed the plugin... After that I saw a metadata folder and maybe another .dll in the mix... After restarting the Loupedeck software, I was then able to unhide the Msfs Plugin!! Thanks calibx!

After some play testing in MSFS2020, and 2024, something isn't right... it doesn't seem to actually link to the sim... none of the radial encoders are doing anything and the radio frequencies seem to be locked

Is there anything in the logs ?

did the zip file get stripped? I think I found the pertinent error json file in the sentry folder

Just to be sure : can you confirm the content of %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Logi\LogiPluginService\Plugins\Msfs ?

You should find 4 dll :

PS : I removed your logs to be sure they doesn't content sensible datas
