[Feature request] PROXY protocol support

Hello,

As discussed, could you please add support for the PROXY protocol when connecting to the proxy ?

I'm interested to use that with Squid, which supports both version 1 and version 2 of the PROXY protocol, so I'll leave it up to you to find which version to implement.

We had some discussions and are generally leaning towards using X-Forwarded-For instead of the PROXY protocol, as it is easier to implement. But either the PROXY protocol or X-Forwarded-For will be implemented in the near future.

This feature probably won't be implemented in the short term, but we can keep this feature request for now.
