The HMDA data are available in different locations depending on the year. When retrieving data from the National Archives, be aware that two versions of the HMDA data are available: Final and Ultimate. Final datasets are released approximately one year after the filing deadline and Ultimate datasets are released approximately two years after the filing data. Each file contains updates (including resubissions and late filings) up to the date of their release. HMDA datasets can be found at the National Archives by using the search code 2456161.
