Hello! i was directed to file an issue here on slack (heh sorry for the delay)

In case there is a desire to include more communities, here are some ideas for sources that I had (some of which may be able to be automated):

  • potentially other Linux Foundation communities (i see theres a lot of CNCF on the list already)
  • The ublue/bazzite community i guess is tangentially related to CNCF (as a key example of cloud native tech used on the linux desktop)
  • https://www.openstreetmap.org/communities
  • Each major linux distro probbaly has a community (i have experience with Fedora specifically, but i know ubuntu and others have them too)
    • the KDE desktop environment is also its own community
  • Id be curious if theres a list of Linux Users Groups out there somewhere

part of me wonders if its also worth looking for other groups that are aggregating lists of FOSS friendly things and seeing if anything useful comes from that. Examples:
