Chora Application Specification

Summary

Chora is a blockchain application built with Cosmos SDK.

The original use case of the application was testing interchain accounts and transactions. The application was then used for hosting and testing custom modules including the geonode module (renamed to subject) and the voucher module.

A few ideas about what the application could become, ideas that would require more research and consideration:

• Chora launches as a network using a subset of Regen validators and the REGEN token to secure the network
• Chora provides a service that extends the functionality of Regen, leveraging interchain accounts and transactions
  • Chora becomes an extension of Regen focused on providing a virtual machine not available on the main network
  • Chora provides modules that extend and integrate with the data module and the ecocredit module/submodules
• Chora remains a test application for custom modules later deployed to Regen and other blockchain application networks

Problem

The Chora blockchain application does not have a specification.

Proposal

Write a technical specification for the Chora blockchain application.
