Scrobbling in the same way as the Last.fm scrobbler works

Some book readers can generate system events (attach to intents or something similar) or put logs into LogCat, so I hope, its possible to track when reading is started (for common readers like Google Books or FBReader or Moon+Reader) and put some kind of notification. Last.FM Scrobbler works in similar way - application parses LogCat, subscribes to Intent calls, and then extracts data about songs

Interesting idea!

I'm not sure of any way to parse logcat from other applications though, do you have any more technical information on the scrobble.fm integration?

Although I feel that this might be better handled by just integrating something like Goodreads API, right?
