Be able to handle Timeline inserts/updates with media uploads

Okay so how do you actually apply it though?

This is what handles POSTs atm:

      def do_verb(verb=:post)
        data = self.params.to_json
        @response = RestClient.send(verb, self.invoke_url, data, self.headers) do |response, request, result, &block|
          handle_http_response(response, request, result, &block)
        end
        set_data
        handle_response
      end

rest-client is telling us to do theirs like so:

RestClient.post '/data', :myfile => File.new("/path/to/image.jpg", 'rb')

And this part of the API docs is another part throwing me off.

uploadType	string	The type of upload request to the /upload URI. Acceptable values are: media - Simple upload. Upload the media data. resumable - Resumable upload. Upload the file in a resumable fashion, using a series of at least two requests.
