Description
New Feature Summary
As a newly interested person (potentially a future CLAMS user), one can’t find a static website that shows the “representative” version (likely the latest version) of the CLAMS vocabulary, since currently the vocabulary is versioned under the MMIF version, hence all vocab web pages are also versioned. In short, I want a user to visit a simple URL, like vocabulary.clams.ai to quickly access a version of the vocab, instead of going to mmif.clams.ai then click through two-three links.
Related
Note that individual annotation types are NOT versioned under the MMIF umbrella version), hence all annotation types must still be independently and explicitly versioned. Hence
- https://mmif.clams.ai/vocabulary/TimeFrame/v5 (correct form of a type URI)
https://mmif.clams.ai/vocabulary/TimeFrame(not allowed)https://vocabulary.clams.ai//TimeFrame/(hypothetical, but should not be allowed)
Alternatives
vocabulary.clams.ai can be simply a redirection to https://mmif.clams.ai/x.y.z/vocabulary/ (x.y.z is the latest) or could be a enumeration page with all past versions of vocabularies and relevant information (like https://apps.clams.ai)
