should the changes in the v0.2.0 branch also be included?

The short answer is "yes" but I think that branch is too gummed up, and likely to be a pain to merge/review. I don't recall what's on v.0.2.0 that's not on dev (I think deprecating epi_recipe(), but maybe some other stuff?).

It should have #399 and #400.

I'm currently working through fixing up #400 to merge directly to dev.

From what I can tell, v0.2.0 is ahead by just the commits in these two branches

The changes don't look too big, the hardest part would probably be the epi_recipe file
