status of xsd project & build system support contributions?

Hi, @karen-arutyunov , @boris-kolpackov , thanks very much for the awesome work and all codesynthesis contributors , I wanted to ask if the project is still actively maintained, since i want to use it in some personal project and i cannot find any other open source implementations of an XML schema to-c/c++ compiler, however i use cmake or menson, as build systems not build2 and xsd currently do not support any of them, there is non-official fork here trying to support cmake for the xsd but it seems outdated and not maintained any more, is it possible to contribute to your project to support at least cmake or other proposed build systems ? ( in a feature branch maybe if you want to keep the main one using your build2 ?) and maybe also adding some ci pipelines, to build/test/ , test coverage reporting, ... improving documentation??, i am pleased to hear any improvement suggestion for the project .

Yes, it is. XSD is fairly stable and most of the changes are bug fixes. The next planned major change would be dropping of C++98 support, potentially with some generated/runtime interface improvements.

Unfortunately not (since we don't want to be responsible for maintaining this going forward). But you can maintain this support in fork and, as long as it is maintained, I am willing to prominently link to it from the project's root README file.
