Fullscreen Overlay Styles and creative link effects conflict

I am using 2 cool things from codedrops, but they conflict. I know it has to do with 
        <script src="moduals/linkEffects/js/modernizr.custom.js"></script>
but I cant get them both on the same page at the same time, any ideas?
