Could not find key for... after colcon bundle

My project is not based on ROS. When I execute the command coclon bundle, it said Could not find key for....

@PierrePeng could you please provide more information about your package? (CMakelists.txt and package.xml at least)

Did you run rosdep init and rosdep update?
And what is the output of pip freeze | grep colcon?

The task is failing here where its trying to find rosdep keys for the packages listed.

colcon-bundle is intended to be used with ROS, so I'm not sure if it can be adapted to your required workflow. To get this to work, you might need to create your own rosdep yaml file to track those required packages.

I have a ROS system, and had colcon bundle working on my environment. I upgraded colcon-bundle and saw similar error.

@konduri are you running this on a 32bit OS?
Asking because you got the warning InRelease doesn't support architecture 'i386'.

I had to do this to fix it. I think the concern is that if i have an existing colcon bundle and i update it using pip3, I will have to remove and re-init rosdep. If its the expected workflow, I can see users being heavily confused with it.

And confirmed i have x86_64, so not a 32 bit OS on my side.

@konduri I have solved the problem after installing ROS. It seems that it is not the same problem as yours.
And I use the following method to update colcon bundle.

sudo apt-get install python3-apt python3-pip
sudo pip3 install -U setuptools pip
sudo pip3 install colcon-ros-bundle

I got the same error before.
After removing ROS melodic and gazebo 9 and install gazebo 11 fixed that problem.
