there is some change in claude cli "configuration"/auth with new verion(s)

I was surprised to find that I also have ~/.claude.json recently and then now fresh yolo build asks to reconfigure itself -- inside there is no ~/.claude.json and note that ~ is /home/node

and also it asked me to authenticate although CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN token was passed in env var, so likely that one is no longer used? but when I look at /status it does say

not sure even what it means about "Local installation ..." but may be that relates somehow..
