`CFBundleIdentifier` in `Info.plist` is not updated correctly

What happened?

I checked two applications bundled with menuinst (alacritty-feedstock & zed-feedstock),
both list CFBundleIdentifier in their menu.json file, but the generated Info.plist entry doesn't match what was expected.
[com.alacritty & com.zed in Into.plist, the menu.json has org.alacritty-0 & dev.zedapp.zed-0].

I think the menuinst is not correctly modifying the default values mentioned here based on the availability of CFBundleIdentifier in menu.json.

I agree, based on the menu.json file your feedstock, the identifier should be different. It looks like menuinst just takes the default value. I think I see what the problem is, but will have to debug this more closely.

I took a closer look and tried to reproduce it. I install allacrity via conda with conda install allacrity -c conda-forge and the info.plist file is how I would expect it to be:

Can you tell me where you find the incorrect identifier?

Could you also add the output of conda list -n base? That would help identify the menuinst version.

Your version is correct.

I used a tool called pixi to install alacritty, it uses a different implementation (https://github.com/conda/rattler/tree/main/crates/rattler_menuinst) of menuinst from what I understand.

I am sorry, I think the issue might be in that implementation.
