How to access the Data store from the RPC function.

Hi Peter,

How do we access the data records(accessing the datastore) from the RPC?

In the above school yang model, I have updated the RPC call named 'result". the input is class name and student rollno. this RPC should find the respective student and process the marks and update the "result" field

Can you guide me.

Hi Suresh,

The method implemented for a given RPC executes at the Store context of the module.

Basically, the RPC function is "bound" to the module so the "this" variable references the module store itself.

You can simply do "this.get('xxxx')" and you will access the configuration hierarchy of the module in question.
