CSLink CSS interferes with custom styles

Several CSS rules in cslink.css have a global scope, overwriting my custom styles for e.g. tables (BTW, I'm still using bootstrap3). Is there a more sophisticated way to include only the needed styles (rather than including the whole stylesheet) or could the cslink.css be tweaked to only style the dedicated cslink elements?

Besides some minor custom styles, we are using only the required Bootstrap 4 classes for csLink to work standalone. If you simply remove the link to the stylesheet delivered with csLink in the HTML, does that fix your problem?

well, we are using bootstrap3 and without the csLink.css the display is borked. Maybe @jakosch (who implemented it for the WeGA) can tell more?!
