Description
I have been using this for my ASUS flow X13 for a while until a couple of days ago. It was doing a great job of putting my laptop into complete silent mode. So here is my story. I noticed overtime that my computer became very laggy, so I ran some bench tests (geekbench 5, Cinemark and CPU-Z), what I noticed is that none of these tests are able to push the CPU usage above 25% no matter what I try. I did change windows performance mode, adjusted fan control to turbo etc etc.
I can't say for sure my CPU performance issue is indeed caused by fan control. I have among other things a lot of services/startup items: vmware,apple icloud, onedrive, microsoft meetings etc etc... However, after disabling/enabling services and startup items including disabling the start of atrofac-gui and disabling fastboot, the problem eventually went away.
I did notice that when the issue occurred, the CPU got hot and yet the fan did not kick up the speed.
