Provider should expose metrics #140

What problem are you facing?
The provider does not expose any metrics at the moment. Copy the example in the provider-template and expose metrics https://github.com/crossplane/provider-template/pull/106/files#diff-36b6d20eb5aea66cf39f8d94111bd96513626ef7f61459f0d9e8e9507ded1d17
In particular, I would like to see metrics such as crossplane_managed_resource_ready being populated with the information provided by the provider. https://docs.crossplane.io/latest/guides/metrics/ . See also crossplane/crossplane#6172
