Define event aggregator functionality

We want to pull event RSS feeds from other sites, but the specifics aren't defined. For instance:

• Data modeling: is there one event feed per organization, or are feeds independent of organizations?
• Workflow: what is the approval/curation process for events? Who curates the lists?
• Notifications: do we want users to sign up for event notifications? If so, which users get notifications— all organization members? ...or do people sign up for desired feeds?
• Display and aggregation: will the feeds be displayed only on the portal, or do we want to embed them elsewhere? Should we aggregate the feeds into a new, master CODE feed? Or maybe multiple per-interest feeds (eg: programming clubs, University-related organizations, web programming organizations)?
