When applying backgroundchanger, the blurred background remains the default one

as shown in the attached ss
while using the bgchanger plugin
the bg fails to update to the currently active image and remains the default one

and i have checked the community, only to find nothing

so could you please advise on matching the bg without losing the bg feature?
