Change BOOT/RESET button timings?

I just got a LaserBear Internal Blue Retro GameCube adapter. Works great!

I do have some issues with the BOOT/RESET button however.

0-3 seconds = reset
4-6 seconds = disconnect
7-9 seconds = pairing
10+ seconds = factory reset

Would there be a possibility of changing the timings of these functions? I would prefer the following:

0-3 seconds = reset
4-9 seconds = pairing
10-29 seconds = disconnect
30+ seconds = factory reset

One would think pairing new controllers would be a higher priority than disconnecting all controllers, so it should come first. Secondly, I think the factory reset in 10 seconds is way too quick, and too easy for someone to do by accident. It should be 30 seconds, or have the option to disable factory resetting via button disabled completely.

Everybody is already used to what it is currently and it's not configurable either.
