Single button binding for modifier combo

I have an internal LaserBear mod kit in my GameCube.

I like the feature where I can set a button combo to do things like shutting down the console, resetting wired controllers, etc. However, I am frustrated by the need for 4 unique buttons to be pressed to activate it! It usually takes me 3-5 tries to successfully turn off the console. I think the default is something like L+R+Start+A or something crazy. This is hard to remember and the GC doesn't even have that many buttons so, I could easily just use any one of the many available unbound buttons instead!

I'd like it if I could either:

1. Set the same button to all 4 combo actions or,
2. If you only set 1 or 2 combo buttons, that is all that is needed.

In my use case, I'd like to use the Capture button on a Switch controller, or the PlayStation button, or the Home button to activate the combo feature. This way, I could do something simple like Capture+Home to turn my system off, or Capture++ to pair a new controller.

Please add something like this! It would make me very happy and would be super useful.

This is how I make a button combination (disconnect all controllers):

1. Go to https://blueretro.io/advance.html

2. Sync your Blueretro module

3. Locate the Source tab and select PS4/PS5 controller. Select GameCube as the label.

4. Go to the end of the button configuration list and press (+). Add as many lines as the number of buttons used in the combination you want to create.

5. For example, for the EXIT function, you need to add four lines for the PS button (R + Z + B + D-Pad Down).
   It would look like this:

   PS---- R
   PS---- Z
   PS---- B
   PS---- D-Pad Down
   (save)

6. Press Save and it will automatically save.

7. On a PS4/PS5 controller, L1, SHARE, R3, and L3 buttons are available for other combinations.

For other on/off functions, I have no help; it must be more electronic, like using a relay.

So, if I have my combo set to L+R+Z+B, and I set the Capture button to output to each of those actions, it will still trigger the combo?
