Checking comments

We all know the importance of commenting inside a readable code. Besides having check_code() function (and tutorial's caution about using it wisely) I cannot put it work in the automatic way to check a bunch of code-files at once (besides it works for a single code-file check). Can anyone explain what am I missing? Thanks in advance.
