Simplify name of mechid synapses

The following syntax is allowed:

"synapse_types": {
 ("AMPA", "long_variant_name"): { ... }
 }

but the synapse name is ("AMPA", "long_variant_name"), which could be simplified to "AMPA", given that we check for and deal with collisions.
