Error executing command

ffmpeg throws the error "Error splitting the argument list: Option not found" for any argument I use with the script. Apparently, the arguments are being passed over to ffmpeg as it is.

If I use the --webcam option, the error will be "Unrecognized option '-webcam'"

I cannot reproduce your issue. Running the exact same command works fine for me using bash in Arch Linux. And the tests are passing fine.

Your log does not show the screencast header and initializing messages, but it jumps directly to the ffmpeg output. And ffmpeg is executed only after the initialization messages are shown. This makes me think that something may be wrong in your side, but I don't know exactly what.

Some years have passed since your report. Is this still an issue today with the latest git master?
