Source landmarks from OpenStreetMap #53

OpenANC had a landmarks section on each district page until the middle of 2022. The landmarks were submitted by users, they were not geocoded, and they were generally not fact checked.

After redistricting in 2022, we couldn't tell what new district they are now in.

We could go back and geocode the old landmarks. We could create a new user entry form for new landmarks. But my preferred solution would be to use Open Street Maps or some other already-existing database like OSM to find some prominent landmarks within each district and list them on that district's page. That way there would be DC-wide coverage and more accuracy.

Query the OSM API for prominent landmarks within each single-member district. Landmarks can include parks, monuments, office buildings, hotels, restaurants, bars, music venues, or just any prominent point that people recognize (for instance, the Big Chair in Anacostia). Pick something like five landmarks per SMD. Run this script periodically, to account for changes in OSM. Only run this for the current redistricting map.
