Baking is ignoring the attribute node

If you have multiple UV's in use and you are using the attribute node to make them show correctly when it comes to baking it looks as though its ignoring the attribute node... or something else is happening that looks similar.

Yes, or a simpler version of it, as long as I can reproduce the problem here. The simpler the file the better it is. You can use www.pasteall.org to host the file.

In that file you will see there are several materials, each material area is unwrapped on the UV labelled as materials UV. Then there is a second uv set labelled as baking. If you try and bake to the baking uv set it does not work as you would expect. The render looks perfect but the bake does not. If you need the image files i can supply them, however pretty much any image files should work

Your file has too many things going on. Can you replicate that in a simpler example (and for textures you can use the generated UV or Color grids)?

I have tried to repo this using a cube and 6 different faces, i cant. However this file is still going wrong. I have moved the textures to the same folder as the blend file and ziped it up in the hope when you extract them it will just work.

If it does not all the texture names match the materials, the only slightly unclear bit is that the long and short seam materials both use the texture called long seam, they just have different mapping settings.

I have also included a rendered image as well as the failed baked image so you can see the difference. This may not be the issue i though it was, but its still not giving correct results.

Hi, i finally reproduced this with a much more basic file. This does not need two UV maps, but it does show very nicely the issue i keep coming across. Where the bake result with more than one UV map and the mapping node do not look the same.
