landing.md not changing the landing page

I'm trying to build website from a sample folder.
I'm using the static.yaml action (I edited a few lines based on vercel.yaml to fix some folder not found issues).

I tried to create a custom landing page:
Following the README, I created a landing.md in the .config folder, but the landing page is still a simple "Hello world".

The file is copied into ssg/.config in the action, and copied into ssg/posts with the rsync command, but it doesn't appear anywhere in the built website.

Maybe I am missing something,

Hi, that feature is not implemented yet, this project is very much still in the early pre-release state.
As for the workflow files not working, I am in the process of moving build steps to CI/CD pipelines rather than platforms like Vercel/Cloudflare Pages handling it as the project requires a few dependencies that are quite big in size (Playwright & Puppeteer dependencies) for rendering Mermaid diagrams. This process is not yet complete and I am working on it.

The final version of this project won't require any tinkering with workflows except for entering the initial environment variables.

If you do have any other feature requests/bugs identified, feel free to create more issues

Hi, thank you for your reactivity.

I don't use Mermaid for now, and I don't mind tinkering, so the project as it is works perfectly for me.

I implemented the landing page by copying your code for the posts. It's simple and it's not thoroughly tested but it does the job.

I will make a few more tests and you can take a look.

I'll definitely come back to you if anything comes up or if I have any idea.

That's good to hear, I was thinking of moving the landing.md file in the config to a certain location so that it would render without having to tweak any existing code. The issue with this would be that a particular file name, like index/landing.md, would be restricted for this usecase only.

Would like to know what you think of this and if there is some alternative you would like to propose.

I understand, still it wasn't really a lot of work to render the landing page from the config folder.
However, the issue I see is that since it's in a hidden folder, the landing.md file doesn't appear in Obsidian so you can't edit it easily. So your idea is still relevant.
Maybe you could set a special token, a tag or a property that the user adds to a page to mark it as the landing one. You would have to make sure there is only one though.
