New Release cant be uninstalled or reverted to a working version #42
Description
All attempts to use the newest version of the action on a private hosted mac runner that once used a prior version now fails, as it cannot correctly copy files over. This is 100% blocking unless we reimage the runner because its cached and cant be removed or upgraded or downgraded.
If we want to use an older version that worked in prior builds after attempting to use the newest version, we cant.
If we want to use the most recent version after using the prior version, we cant.
The action installs but doesn't uninstall, and it doesn't update.
This is totally broken.
