Implement background or automatic updates on iOS

Implement support for background or automatic updates via the App Store so users always get the latest version without manual intervention.

Currently, users remain on outdated versions unless they manually reinstall the app.
The app doesn’t appear under Settings → General → Background App Refresh.

Automatic updates should already be working, and have nothing to do with the Background App Refresh option.
Users must activate automatic iOS app updates:
Settings > Apps > App Store and toggle the switch for App Updates on

We check if the next update of the app gets installed automatically.
