Missing setup.py file

pip install git+https://github.com/directeur/django-pdf.git throws:

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/foo/bar/tmp/pip-tzvHZ6-build/setup.py'

The tmp directory is correctly set to local home and writable. The build directory is there, but no setup.py. Am I missing something?
