I'm a pretty simple man, and I only really want to use the kanban features without SMTP enablement. It was quite annoying having not the option to setup a local account rather than using a forced email format credential on launch. Would an option be for setup on UI to have local accounts rather than email based accounts?

Current:
admin@ticky.com
password

Proposed:
admin
password

I only propose this as my purpose of this app is to use it to manage my own tasks and potentially others in my family. I need it to be simple and not confusing for others who are non-technical users so it is seamless for use.

Hey, if this were to be implemented, it would be in a way where when registering, the username and e-mail are different fields and the e-mail is optional. Does that fulfill your needs as well? Also will leave this open for a bit longer if there are any thoughts.

This is forcing an email on setup. Is there a way to force local usernames within the yaml file potentially?

This is forcing an email type format when I just want it as a local username "admin" not "admin@emailhere.com"

As a user who might not be savvy enough with logins like this, its just needs to be something pretty easy for simplicities sake.

I understand you are trying to cater to multiple audiences which is perfectly fine and the email thing for online usage, so potentially adding an option to allow different account types maybe within the setup phase?

NOTE: I actually love the app personally, I've been spending some time tinkering with it and I really wanna see this succeed more, it really is quite something you've done. I've been hunting for something pay wall free that really fleshes out task distribution although my tasks aren't really IT related mostly ( I fiddle at home with a home lab) but I have things on the go I need to keep track of where I'm at with them and this helps immensely with tracking my own chaos.

Also to note, when I go to create a new user, there isn't an option just for a user name, it's only email so i feel like the email field is actually required, not optional.

Essentially, what I'm saying is being able to use either/or to authenticate.

Alrighty, I'll take a look at doing this when I'm back from my vacation. Leaving this up for now, leave any thoughts if anything comes to mind :)
